Every Wednesday morning, we’re putting the spotlight on one hilarious kid, ages 4–14, as our Compact Comedian of the Week!

Think your kid has what it takes to make Toronto laugh? Enter them below for their chance to have their jokes recorded with our team and featured LIVE on the radio with The Z Morning Zoo!

Entry Criteria

To enter, you must:

Be the child’s legal parent or guardian.
Your child must be between 4 and 14 years of age.
Submit an original joke created by your child, either as an audio or written submission. No AI! The joke must be original and created by the child and cannot be copied, reproduced, adapted or derived from any third-party material. No profanity, abusive or discriminatory entries will be tolerated.
Tell us why you think your child should be our next Compact Comedian!
Upload a photo of your Compact Comedian.
Provide your contact information, along with your child’s name and date of birth.

The Fine Print

No purchase necessary. Contest starts on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. ET and closes on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 at approximately 11:59 p.m. ET. This Contest is open to individuals who are between four to fourteen (4 to 14) years of age at the start of the Contest Period, are a legal resident of Ontario, Canada, and who are entered into the Contest by their parent or legal guardian, as applicable. Some restrictions apply. The approximate retail value of each Prize is between twenty-five ($25.00) dollars and one hundred ($100.00) dollars. There are eleven (11) prizes to be won, drawn from the total number of entries received. Eligibility restrictions may apply for previous CIDC-FM contest winners.
