Pet of the Week - TEX

Through the Home for the Holidays adoption campaign, running until Dec. 24, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is on a mission to find homes for 500 animals province-wide by Christmas!

Meet Tex! Tex is a 1-year-old mixed breed pup. Although we cannot say for certain what is breed is, he looks a lot like a Borzoi - and acts like one as well! He is very nervous of people; he is still learning how to trust and love. He will need some time to come around, but with his gentle and calm demeanor, we know he will eventually shine. He absolutely loves his crate, it is his safe space, so this is a must for his new home. He also loves other dogs, so having a friendly and confident canine companion in the home will definitely help him grow and become more comfortable with the world!
Come meet Tex at the York Region SPCA at 16586 Woodbine Avenue, any day from 11am-5pm. His adoption fee is $585 which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and FREE food!
