Sony Pulls The Plug On 'The Interview'
News
“The Interview” will not be released on December 25th. Sony Pictures decided to pull the plug on it. So can you get it On Demand or DVD? Nope. James Franco and Seth Rogen have also canceled all promotional appearances. They were expected to be on the Tonight Show, Ellen, Conan and more, all in the next week. A Sony statement read: “We respect and understand our partners’ decision and, of course, completely share their paramount interest in the safety of employees and theater-goers," the studio said in a statement. "Sony Pictures has been the victim of an unprecedented criminal assault against our employees, our customers, and our business. Those who attacked us stole our intellectual property, private emails, and sensitive and proprietary material, and sought to destroy our spirit and our morale – all apparently to thwart the release of a movie they did not like. We are deeply saddened at this brazen effort to suppress the distribution of a movie, and in the process do damage to our company, our employees, and the American public. We stand by our filmmakers and their right to free expression and are extremely disappointed by this outcome."
Brad And Angelina Hire Cyber Squad
News
Do you check up on your kids social media, emails and everything they do online? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt do. And they took it to the next level. They have hired a cyber-security team to monitor the Internet activity of their children. As the parents of six kids between the ages of six and 13, Jolie and Pitt are taking every precaution to protect them as they grow up in a digital world. Jolie tells People magazine that in order to make sure they’re safe on the Internet, she and Pitt hired a team of experts to monitor the online and social media content their kids encounter. Jolie, who calls herself “old-school” when it comes to technology, admits that while she and Pitt have a firm grasp on how to keep their kids safe, she is fully aware of the dangers the Internet presents to children. She says, “It’s a scary new world. It’s so beyond what we understand. We wouldn’t even know what to look for.”

Drake Takes Over The ACC
News
Z103.5 was on hand to welcome Drake back to the ACC as he cheered on his buddies from The Toronto Raptors. Drake tells us he tries his best to put himself in their shoes when it comes to team building. “It’s a tough comparison but being part of an ensemble cast it involves the meshing of all personalities and I can testify because I was on DeGrassi and there was 12 kids having to co-exist and everyone wanted to be a star and everyone had dreams of doing this and that and the third, but once you have a common goal, as opposed to a personal goal that’s when things really start to click and that’s what the Raptors have this year. There’s a real family vibe going on. They love each other, they care about each other and they want to win and it shows in their record."
